Things at the market on Saturday:
Besides Chef Derek cooking and discussing Back Yard Pro Bow (not sure what that is, come out taste his food and ask him), we will have green beans, broccoli, carrots, onions and kohlrabi, S & H Lettuce Mix, Swiss chard, basil, carrots, beets, squash, oregano, dill, and tomatoes, squash, zucchini, cucumbers, beets, herbs, carrots, cabbage culiflower! Fresh herbs and teas (cilantro, bergamot, lemon bergamot, sage, rosemary, dill, lavender, oregano, tulsi (holy basil), stevia, basil mix (Thai, lemon, cinnamon, purple basils, chamomile, calendula), Dried spices (oregano, rosemary, sage, purple basil) Cut flowers (zinnias). Paula will be back from Angel nest with great breads, cookies and crackers. Make sure to come out and pick up some fresh vegetables and some good eats from Chef Derek.
Bess Hester-Whitt from Person County Extension will also be on hand to test Dial Gauge Canner lids so if you have a Presto or National Brand dial gauge canner, bring them with you.
Remember, its always fresher in Person!!!
