Saturday at the Market

Join us for a cool beautiful morning under the shelter from 8 – 12 tomorrow!

Sassafras Fork Farm will be there with Fall Asparagus (absolutely delicious – get there early!), fingerling potatoes, hot dogs, kielbasa, pastrami, salami, farm eggs, and cut flowers.

Rogers Cattle Farm will have beef and pork and be taking orders for holiday turkeys.

Susan Korn will be there with her array of jewelry.

J&B Herbs is back this fall with fall bedding plants including an array of colorful mums.

4M Farms will be there with tomatoes, okra, butternut squash, green beans, butter beans, peas, cucumbers, and rabbit.

We also are thrilled to begin building a new relationship with the tasty new restaurant Brookland Eats. Chef Coleman Norris has reached out to the farmers market and is purchasing fresh produce from vendors to highlight in weekly specials. The farm-to-table movement is very strong in this area and it is wonderful to see this being brought to Roxboro!! Dont know how to cook a different vegetable to the market but want an idea? Dont have time to coko but want something fresh and delicious? Show your support to this local restaurant as they begin to use their purchasing power for fresh and local! We look forward to building this relationship through the winter and providing fresh produce weekly if possible. The restaurant also is planning to begin a Sunday brunch in the future.
